TeamLogger Mobile

Built for workplace use: TeamLogger Mobile is for employees, managers, and company administrators who already have a TeamLogger account. Account invitations, roles, monitoring settings, retention, and access are controlled by the user's company.
What the mobile app does
Track work time
Select an assigned project and task, add required notes, start and stop a work timer, switch tasks, punch out, and review daily totals.
Work through interruptions
Keep supported work entries locally when the network is unavailable, see synchronization state, and upload pending work and screenshot packets when connectivity returns.
Approve time
Authorized approvers can review manual or off-computer entries grouped by employee and day and approve pending entries individually or at permitted group scopes.
Handle leave
Apply for leave, explicitly select an attachment when needed, review authorized requests, and view leave reports while connected.
View reports
Open Employee Summary and related information when the signed-in account has the required reporting permission.
Review screenshots
Permission-gated employers and managers can use one Screenshots workspace for recent monitoring cards and employee history by date.
Mobile screenshot capture is visible and user-started
If the company enables mobile screenshot tracking, TeamLogger explains the capture before opening the operating system's screen-sharing flow. The explanation tells the employee that visible screen content can be captured, uploaded and stored for work verification, and viewed by authorized company users. The employee can continue or decline.
Android
- Uses Android MediaProjection after the user accepts the system prompt.
- On Android 13 or newer, notification permission is required before capture.
- Shows a persistent TeamLogger screen-sharing notification with a unique app icon and Stop sharing action while capture is active.
- App notifications and the TeamLogger Screen sharing notification channel must remain enabled; disabling them blocks or stops capture.
iOS
- Uses Apple's ReplayKit broadcast picker and the TeamLogger Broadcast extension.
- The user starts the broadcast in Apple's system interface.
- iOS displays its screen-capture indicator while broadcasting.
- Protected transient extension frames and configuration are cleared when capture or the broadcast ends.
Protect private content: A work screenshot can include anything visible at the capture moment—other apps, browser pages, messages, notifications, customer data, or personal information. Close sensitive content and use device notification controls before starting tracked work.
What authorized screenshot viewers can see
The Screenshots workspace is visible only when the account's TeamLogger role and screenshot permission allow it. It can show recent employee monitoring cards and historical server-held captures, including screenshots uploaded by desktop or mobile trackers. Existing company features can also produce webcam/camera or Sentinel captures. Activity values are hidden when the company setting denies them.
The viewer does not grant broader access than the signed-in user's company reporting and screenshot scope. The mobile app does not save or share viewed screenshots, masks sensitive views while inactive, clears route-held image state when context changes, and loads signed image links without attaching TeamLogger API credentials to the image host.
What this mobile app does not collect
The current Android and iOS apps do not collect precise or approximate location, contacts, calendars, call logs, SMS, installed-app inventory, keyboard activity, touch or pointer activity, idle-time signals, foreground-app names, browser-tab names, or webcam photos. They do not use the microphone to record audio, browse the photo library, or use the camera. A user can explicitly select a supported file through the system picker when attaching it to a leave request; depending on server and leave-policy support, that file can be a document, photo, video, existing audio file, or another format.
Desktop-only collection features—including desktop idle signals, active-window, app and website usage, webcam verification, zero-click, full-auto, or silent tracking—remain desktop tracker features. A permitted manager may view data already collected by those desktop features without the manager's mobile device collecting it.
Operating-system behavior
- Mobile operating systems can suspend applications. TeamLogger does not assume work or required capture continued while the app could not execute; the employee may be asked to restart tracking.
- Stopping a work timer stops TeamLogger's active Android MediaProjection or iOS ReplayKit capture flow.
- An optional Android floating timer can show active-work state and a Stop button over other apps. It is off by default, requires Android's Display over other apps setting, does not read other apps, and does not keep the timer alive while TeamLogger cannot execute.
- Supported iPhones can show active-work status in a Lock Screen Live Activity or Dynamic Island. Tapping it returns to TeamLogger; it does not keep work or capture alive on its own.
Privacy, deletion, and support
Authenticated users can open the Privacy Policy directly from the app's More menu. Support includes the Customer Success email and Help Center when company settings permit it, and Feature request is a separate menu item.
